Handcut to order by our Master Butcher from the topside of the leg of a young calf, these escalopes are one of the leanest cuts of Veal that you can buy. They are much more tender than Beef and have a lovely delicate milky taste and flavour.
These escalopes are simple to cook, delicious to eat and endlessly versatile. Why not use them to make some classic Veal Schnitzels. Season and coat each escalope in breadcrumbs and pan-fry in oil and butter. Cook for a few minutes on each side until they turn a gorgeous golden brown and the meat is cooked through. Serve sizzling hot and garnish with a slice of lemon and a sprinkle of freshly chopped parsley. The crispy, breaded exterior and tender veal interior, along with the zesty touch of lemon, makes these Veal Schnitzels a winning combination!
