Oatmeal of Alford Gluten Free Organic Oats are grown organically in the sun-drenched fields of Aberdeenshire. Last year the Montgarrie Mill, where Oatmeal of Alford was kiln-dried and milled, was largely destroyed by fire. However, the kiln somehow survived. It is the kiln-drying that gives these oats their fantastic, characteristicly nutty flavour that so many love. There is a different milling process, but the flavour, the gluten free status and organic status is unchanged. All production from field to packing is done using dedicated equipment in a gluten-free environment and each batch is tested to <5ppm gluten. Free of the 14 main allergens. All wholegrain. No Cholesterol; Very Low in Sodium; Low in Fat; Low in Saturated Fats; High in Fibre; Source of Iron
