Product description
Our organic yerba mate and oat straw blend herbal infusion tea bags are made using the finest quality organically grown ingredients, which are sealed inside bleach-free filter paper to create a truly 100% natural infusion. They are made to order and presented in environmentally friendly, black Kraft paper packaging, which is heat sealed and comes complete with a 'tin tie' to help seal in their freshness. Similarly processed to tea (Camellia sinensis), yerba mate leaves are cut just before they reach full growth and are then steamed, dried and allowed to age. Unlike tea however, yerba mate has quite a high caffeine content and can be a fresh, vegetal and energising herbal alternative to coffee. Brewing Suggestions: Use 1 tea bag per cup and infuse for 6 - 8 minutes, or to individual taste, using freshly boiled water. Can be enjoyed with or without sweetener.
