Wholegrain Oatcakes 6 x 150g packs (900g) Each 150g contains 12 biscuits. Oatcakes have been a traditional staple of the British diet, for centuries, produced from the abundance of oats. Its claimed that soldiers would carry a bag of oats, then moisten with water and cook over a fire, providing a natural, nutritious meal. These Traditional oatcakes are based on a family recipe, using Scottish oatmeal and oat flakes to deliver a natural, wheat free, crunchy oatcake. The Mature Cheddar Cheese as the simple addition of Scottish cheddar, to give a distinct flavour. Seaweed & Black Pepper is flavoured with cracked black pepper and seaweed, creating a full savoury flavour. Ideal any time of day. Energy from oats is released slowly and so it lasts longer. Commonly eaten with a variety of cheeses, however ideal with any favourite preserves, spreads or toppings.
