The Romero family grow their Illa de Riu bomba rice in the Ebro delta. This area of Catalonia has the longest tradition of rice growing. The special terroir of the delta helps the Romeros produce some Spains finest rice. Bombay rice is the rice for paellas. Serving suggestion: make a dish of Saffron rice with bomba and serve it as a side with roast chicken and gravy.
